It was very easy to apply, and did not take long to cover the cubicle base. I gave it 24 hours to set, and it was perfectly non-slip at the end of the day. It said on the packing it would last for ten years, and I hope I'm around to see if it does, because I'm 75 now! We previously had non slip circular pads on our shower tray which were fine but had become horribly discoloured. Thought I would give Tub Grip a try. I watched the video before starting and noted that the base had to be cleaned thoroughly before applying the product. The pads left an adhesive residue when I peeled them off so I used white spirit to remove this. I then used "Barkeepers Friend" to clean the base thoroughly. Having rinsed and dried the base I applied the product evenly over the tray and then spread it out using the roller. I left it to dry for 12 hours but it actually felt touch dry within a couple of hours. The shower tray has now been transformed with a lovely clean non slip base. It feels like fine sand under your feet. I would definitely recommend this product and have no reservations in giving it 5 stars. On reading the instructions supplied I was surprised that prior to applying the product the surface of the tray should be lightly sanded. I was very unwilling to this as it would ruin an expensive tray if the product had to be removed for whatever reason. So reluctantly, I sent it back for refund.
